Early Bird Nominations are Half Way Over!

Nominations have commenced and we are nearly halfway to the end of Early Bird Nominations. Early Bird Nominations end on April 21 -- less than a week away.

So if you designed a site, own a site, or just like a site that was created using Drupal, you’ll want to get it in before that date to avoid the higher cost. But if you don’t get it in by that date, not to worry. You will still be able to nominate your favorite site -- the cost to place nominations after the 21st will be $25 per site. The deadline for all nominations will be April 28.

The Drupal community is huge. Just how huge?

  • Did you know that there are over 1M websites on the internet today that were created with Drupal?
  • Did you also know that over half of those were created in just the past 3 years?
  • Did you know there are over 30k Drupal modules?
     

Drupal has created an entire industry consisting of hundreds of companies that employ thousands of people. Which is actually quite cool.

That's why we created Blue Drop Awards. And we're growing like crazy:

We're not sure you know this, but the Blue Drop Awards is an all-volunteer organization. Which means the Blue Drop Awards would be nothing without them. We know your lives are busy and that you don't have time to do it full-time. But the more volunteers we get, the less work there is for everyone.

This is just one way to give back to the Drupal community. All volunteers will be given their own volunteer profile page on the website. We need volunteers for the following positions. If you can do more than one, all the better!
