Describe the Project (Goals, Requirements, and Outcome):
Hero Group is an international brand-focused consumer foods group, founded in 1886.
Hero Netherlands released a new marketing strategy, which included new product packaging and a new website. Design agency Fitzroy (www.fitzroy.nl) made the design and LimoenGroen (www.limoengroen.nl) did the Drupal implementation.
The client wanted to list all their consumer products and enable users to search these products by ingredient and category. Also, they wanted to wanted to let consumers ask questions to the Hero fruit specialists and, when answered, show the these on the website.
Why Drupal Was Chosen:
They client wanted a easy to use CMS to update the information on the website themselves. As the Hero Group already uses Drupal for their website, the Dutch part of the group wanted Drupal as well.
Key Modules, Theme, and Distribution Used:
Apart from the usual suspects (Features, Context, Display Suite, Media, Ctools, Pathauto, Redirect, Wysiwyg) the website uses Semantic Views, Custom Publishing Options, Draggable Views, Honeypot and Rules. The website uses a custom theme, built with SASS, Susy and Compass.
